REGISTERWho is the God of biblical monotheism? Certainly not a God that "belongs" only to believers. Certainly not the absolute Being, outside of time and human history, to whom many refer when they want to deny or affirm His existence. He is the God of the Commandments: a dramatic God, who makes room for otherness and puts His own unity at risk, and also cultivates a constant relationship with humanity. He is the God who bursts on the scene of history with a gaze of Love and is a source of liberty and justice.
